Handmade in Ireland from recycled and renewable materials, these panels provide a decorative solution to acoustic treatment for both residential and commercial spaces. Panels are available in three standard sizes:

1200 mm x 1200 mm
1200 mm x 2400 mm
Custom sizes are also available on request. We can work with customers to find their image of choice and offer many colour options to suit your design.
Acoustic Performance
Silhouette panels achieve an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) of 0.50 - 1, depending on thickness, additional core materials and mounting method. They are most effective in the mid to high frequency range (250Hz - 4kHz) the range that covers speech, music and general office or hospitality noise. They are made from recycled PET fibre, which is free from formaldehyde and certified safe for interior use.

FAQ’S
What is NRC? NRC stands for Noise Reduction Coefficient. It is a number between 0 and 1 that measures how much sound a material absorbs. An NRC of 0.70 means the panel absorbs 70% of sound energy that hits it. For most commercial spaces, panels with an NRC of 0.60 or above are recommended.
Can these panels be used in a restaurant? Yes, Silhouette panels are well suited to hospitality environments. They are moisture-tolerant, durable and available in custom sizes and colours to complement any interior scheme.
What NRC rating do I need for my space? This depends on the size of your room, the ceiling height and the surfaces already present. Contact us with your room dimensions and we can calculate the correct coverage and NRC target for your specific space.
