Fabric Wrapped Acoustic Panels
Professional Finish, Custom Fabric, Irish-Made
QUNAS fabric wrapped acoustic panels are one of the most versatile and widely used acoustic treatment products available. Each panel consists of a 50mm recycled PET acoustic core wrapped in a choice of acoustically transparent fabric. Acoustically transparent means sound passes freely through the fabric to the absorptive core behind, so the fabric can be chosen purely for its visual and tactile qualities without any compromise on performance.
Designed and handmade in Co. Offaly, Ireland, these panels are a practical, professional solution for any space that needs improved acoustics and a clean interior finish.
Acoustic Performance
With a 50mm recycled PET acoustic core, QUNAS fabric wrapped panels achieve an NRC of 0.80 - 1. They are effective from 125 Hz upward, covering the full speech frequency range as well as the mid-frequencies most responsible for reverberation problems in offices, schools and commercial spaces. The 50mm core depth makes these panels suitable for use in spaces with high noise levels or where a fast reduction in reverberation time is required.

FAQ’S
What makes a fabric acoustically transparent? an acoustically transparent fabric has a sufficiently open weave to allow sound waves to pass through freely. Tightly woven or coated fabrics reflect sound rather than allowing it to reach the absorptive core. All fabrics we use are tested or verified to be acoustically transparent before use.
Can I supply my own fabric? in some cases, yes contact us with the fabric details and we can assess whether it is acoustically transparent and suitable for panel wrapping.
What is the 50mm PET core made from? The core is made from post-consumer recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) fibre, the same material used in plastic bottles. It is free from formaldehyde and other harmful binders, and is safe for use in occupied spaces including schools and healthcare environments.
