Geometric Wooden Acoustic Panels with Coloured PET Core
ARTAcoustic panels are a signature product in the QUNAS range, a fusion of precision craftsmanship and acoustic engineering. Each panel features a solid timber face with geometric patterns CNC-cut through the wood, revealing a coloured recycled PET acoustic core beneath. The result is a panel that performs as a sound absorber and functions as a piece of wall art.
Designed and handmade in Co. Offaly, Ireland, ARTAcoustic panels are well suited to any environment where acoustics and interior design carry equal weight, boardrooms, hotel lobbies, restaurants, reception areas, music rooms and high-end residential interiors.
How They Work
The geometric cut-outs in the timber face allow sound to pass through to the coloured PET acoustic core beneath, where it is absorbed. The PET core is made from recycled fibres and achieves an NRC of 0.70 - 1 at 50mm depth. The timber face adds a degree of diffusion/scattering reflected sound, which further improves the acoustic character of the room. The combination of absorption and diffusion makes ARTAcoustic panels particularly effective in listening rooms, studios and premium commercial spaces.
Materials and Customisation
ARTAcoustic panels are available with a wide range of customisation options. The following can all be specified to order:
Timber face: Oak Veneered MDF, Walnut Veneered MDF, Birch Plywood, Painted MDF
Geometric pattern: A library of standard cut patterns is available, or we can work with your designer or architect to produce a bespoke design
PET core colour: The coloured PET core is visible through the cut-outs and can be specified in a wide range of colours from our stock to complement or contrast with the timber face
Panel size: Standard and fully custom sizes available on request
NRC core depth: All panels start off with 12mm coloured PET Acoustic MAterial with a choice of an additional layer of 25mm or 50mm PET core options if an improved acoustic performance is required.

Can I choose my own geometric pattern? Yes. We offer a library of standard cut patterns and can also produce fully bespoke designs from architectural drawings or mood board references. Contact us to discuss your design requirements.
What NRC does the ARTAcoustic panel achieve? With a 50mm PET core, ARTAcoustic panels achieve an NRC of 0.70 - 1. The open area of the cut pattern affects the precise NRC, we can calculate the expected performance for any specific design before manufacturing.
Can the timber face be painted or stained? Yes, the timber face can be supplied in a natural finish, stained, painted or lacquered.
What sizes are available? Standard panel sizes are available, and all panels can be manufactured to custom dimensions. Contact us with your wall measurements and we will advise on the best layout.
